The ESCAPE project aims to enhance digital gamification skills among teachers, integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into school education, and promote game-based learning through escape games. It will train 30 educators who will mentor 120 more, develop 18 multilingual escape games, and establish a Digital Hub as an Open Educational Resource (OER). The project fosters innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in European education.
Objectives:
The ESCAPE project will implement four key activities:
- Training Ambassador Programme – Training 30 teachers in gamification and escape game creation.
- Development of Escape Games & Digital Hub – Co-creating 18 SDG-focused escape games and launching a multilingual OER platform.
- Piloting & International Exchange – Testing games with 1,800 students and refining outputs.
- Dissemination & Multiplier Events – Engaging 250+ stakeholders to ensure long-term impact.
